FALL JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: Research Assistant, Workforce Science Project, Searle Center on Law, Regulation, and Economic Growth, Northwestern University School of Law

The Workforce Science Project of the Searle Center on Law, Regulation, and Economic Growth seeks law students for part-time paid fall positions on a project exploring the relationship between wage stagnation and legal institutions. The current phase of the project has two goals: (1) Examining the empirical research on wage stagnation and (2) assessing the role of securities markets in both causing and potentially reducing wage stagnation. Special attention will be given to the newly issued pay disclosure rules under Dodd-Frank. The position will involve writing memos that summarize empirical, legal and policy issues and provide substantive analysis and policy prescriptions.

Desired Qualifications Strong general legal research skills are required. Interest in law and economics is desirable.
