Northwestern Pritzker School of Law is thrilled to announce the launch of the Planet Lex podcast, a series of conversations about the law today and its role within the ever-changing global, societal, and technological landscapes. 2016 Alumni Award Winners Announced
We are pleased to announce the following recipients of the 2016 Alumni Awards: Neil Eggleston (JD ’78), current White House Counsel, will receive the Distinguished Alumnus Award; James Koutoulas (JD ’06), CEO of Typhon Capital Management, will receive the Emerging Leader Award; Marlene Nations (JD ’82), a partner at Dentons LLP, will receive the Volunteer Service Award; Leontine Chuang (JD ’01), of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees office, will receive the International Alumnus Award; and Thomas Geraghty (JD ’69), James B. Haddad Professor of Law and outgoing director of the Bluhm Legal Clinic, will receive the Dawn Clark Netsch Public Service Award. A luncheon honoring these outstanding alumni will be held on Friday, October 21, during Alumni Weekend.

Natalie Maust Awarded Immigrant Justice Corps Fellowship
Recent Northwestern Law graduate Natalie Maust (JD ’16) was named one of twenty-five young advocates in the Immigrant Justice Corps Fellowship Class of 2016.The two-year fellowship sends recent law graduates and clerks with a passion for justice for immigrants to host organizations in New York City. She will be joining the Legal Aid Society, the United States' oldest and largest provider of legal aid to the indigent, in late August. More...

Scholarship Challenge for Today and Tomorrow
Recognizing the critical need for additional endowed scholarships, J.B. and M.K. Pritzker designated a significant portion of their extraordinary gift to scholarships. To encourage others to join them in creating endowed scholarships for future Law School students, while also meeting the needs of today’s students, they have established a one-to-two match that provides $100,000 in matching funds to any benefactor who makes a scholarship gift of $200,000 or more. The Challenge is intended to inspire gifts from Law School supporters who share J.B.’s and M.K.’s understanding of the importance of investing in students. More...

New Global Public Interest Fellowship Program
Beginning in the summer of 2017, the Global Public Interest Fellowship program will fund up to six JD students to work abroad during the summer for an approved governmental or nongovernmental organization active on legal issues. More...
