More than 300 Students and Faculty Volunteer on Election Day
On November 6, more than 300 Northwestern Pritzker School of Law students and faculty members volunteered in a student-led Day of Civic Service. Participants volunteered as poll-watchers or legal hotline volunteers with Election Protection, the nation's largest nonpartisan voter hotline; surveyed polling places for ADA-compliance with Voting Access Chicago; and served as election judges and coordinators with the Chicago Board of Elections.
Contemporary Issues in Complex Litigation Conference, November 28-29

Judges Wanted for Julius H. Miner Moot Court Competition
The 2019 Julius H. Miner Moot Court Board invites alumni to participate as a judge during the preliminary rounds of the 56th Annual Julius H. Miner Moot Court Competition on Thursday, Feb. 7, Monday, Feb. 11, Monday, Feb. 18 and Thursday, Feb. 21. The preliminary rounds begin each evening at 7:30 p.m., and are preceded by a buffet dinner for participating judges at 6:00 p.m. Participating judges will receive CLE credit. Last month, the Law School announced a new giving society for our closest friends and top-level donors, the Dean's Circle of the Wigmore Club. Dean's Circle members are leadership donors to Northwestern Pritzker School of Law committed to maintaining a foundation of support for the school with gifts of $10,000 or more annually. These gifts are essential for the Law School and provide critical resources that are used to address immediate needs.
