Northwestern Law Celebrates Diversity with Global Village

February 08, 2013

Northwestern Law will hold its 8th annual Global Village, a celebration of the many diverse cultures of the Law School, on Friday, February 15, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., in the Law School Atrium.

One of the largest and most popular annual community events held at the Law School, Global Village brings together students, staff, faculty — and their families — to enjoy a night of food, drink, entertainment, and music from around the world.

This year’s celebration will feature prepared food from more than 20 countries. Event organizers estimate that more than 700 participants will attend the celebration.

Global Village is one of many examples of Northwestern Law’s continued commitment to the vast population of international students at the Law School.  The event is a collaborative effort between LLM and JD students, the International Programs Office, the Student Bar Association International Committee, Diversity Coalition, and a majority of the Law School’s student groups.
