Northwestern Law Welcomes ALLM Class of 2015

May 11, 2015

Northwestern Law welcomed the 2015 accelerated Master of Laws (LLM) class this month. Students from 10 different countries make up the incoming class.

The accelerated LLM program brings together international law graduates to study business law in a concentrated format. The program attracts candidates with experience in practice or other settings, who bring an appreciation of their home country’s legal system, as well as an interest in learning in a truly global setting. The students enrolled in the program this year have an average of 8 years of experience in their home countries, which include India, Germany, Mexico, Thailand, Israel, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, and China.

The program is intended for candidates whose personal or professional obligations limit their ability to spend an entire year studying in the United States in a traditional LLM program. Students can earn the degree in one 15-week summer session (May through August), or two 7.5-week sessions over two summers.
