Live Streaming Video: Panel Discussion on National Cannabis Decriminalization Efforts

On Friday, October 23, 2015, at 2:30 p.m., Northwestern Pritzker School of Law will host a panel discussion on national cannabis decriminalization efforts and the social impact of cannabis laws. Cannabis prohibition is entering its 78th year and yet, it is legal to purchase marijuana in four states-Alaska, Colorado, Washington, and Oregon. This panel will discuss the cannabis decriminalization efforts around the country and the resolution to the inevitable clash of state federal laws as well as the how these laws, and the resulting criminal prosecutions, have impacted underrepresented and poor communities.
