Northwestern Law Welcomes Class of 2015 Executive LLM Madrid Students

April 29, 2015

Fifteen Executive LLM Madrid students from across the globe arrived at Northwestern University School of Law on April 29 for their final two weeks of classes. These students have been part of our Executive LLM program since September, taking courses in Madrid and online taught by faculty from Northwestern Law and from our partner school, IE Law School.

The students in this year’s class represent 12 countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, India, Mexico, Nicaragua, Qatar, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey, and UAE. They will spend the next two weeks in Chicago completing their final courses in anti-trust law, litigation, and negotiation, and they will attend the Law School convocation ceremony with their fellow graduates on May 15.

Designed for legal and business professionals who wish to pursue a master's degree while continuing their professional commitments, the Executive LLM Madrid program focuses on Anglo-American common law and its application in international practice along with management essentials. The program has seen 135 students matriculate since its inception in 2006.
