The Northwestern Pritzker School of Law community will highlight a wide array of cultural traditions, food, performances, and music from around the globe at the 11th annual Global Village celebration on Friday, February 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Atrium.

This year, the popular event will feature over 20 countries including Aruba, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Cuba, France, Greece, India, Israel, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Pakistan, Poland, Taiwan, and others. Along with food, each country’s table will feature trivia questions and activities. Representatives from eight of the countries will perform during the event.

Adi Altshuler, director of international programs, helped create the Global Village event 11 years ago as a way to bring together LLM and JD communities and share the broad spectrum of cultures represented across the Law School. The event has grown in the last decade, drawing upward of 500 students, faculty, staff, and their families.
