Welcome Law Schools Global League

July 18, 2016

Northwestern Pritzker School of Law is pleased to host the Law Schools Global League annual summer school and conference. Comprised of 24 schools from 22 countries, the LSGL serves as a platform to share knowledge and stimulate academic debate and cooperation in both education and research concerning the globalization of law and its implications on legal education, research and practice. As a founding member of the League, Northwestern Law welcomes over 60 delegates to this year’s annual event.

The 4th LSGL Summer School which began July 11th brought together 36 students from 16 different law schools for an intensive two-week immersion in global law. Sessions include courses on the intersection between law and technology, the geographies of law, and the future of investment law.

The 3rd LSGL Academic Conference which will be held tomorrow, July 19th, for deans, senior staff, and professors from member law schools, will focus on four themes: global issues of human rights, business and law, anti-corruption, and new technologies and law.

On Wednesday, July 20th, the 6th LSGL General Deans Meeting will convene in a closed session where various projects and discussion topics underway will form the agenda.

We look forward to warmly welcoming the Law Schools Global League to Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.
