Telecommunications and Internet Policy This seminar will take as its general focus Internet policy, touching on intellectual property, regulation, antitrust, free speech, and other issues as they are developing in the Internet space. In the first several weeks of the class, I will introduce the broad outlines of recurring problems of Internet policy. In later weeks, student presentations will be organized by common subject matter, and I will supplement student presentations with additional materials.
There are no prerequisites for the seminar.
The seminar is for 3 credits. All students will write a paper on an Internet topic of their own choosing, and the paper will have two drafts.
Students may also choose to complete their three-draft requirement by arrangement.
