Commercial Sales A survey of the law of Sales under Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code. Topics to be covered include scope of Article 2, contract formation, statute of frauds, parole evidence, warranties (including Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act), performance and breach (acceptance, rejection, revocation ), risk of loss and remedies.
Teaching methods: Course will be taught through the use of problems designed to develop an understanding of the basic transactions and the skills needed to work with a commercial code. Current developments in the amendment and interpretation of Article 2 will be discussed.
Evaluation: The final grade will be determined on the basis of a 3-hour final exam. Class attendance, participation and preparation will be a factor in determining the final grade.
