French for Lawyers This course is intended for French-speaking students who wish to build their legal vocabulary, improve their communication skills in both legal and business settings, effectively serve French speaking clients, and conduct business transactions in French. The typical class session will consist of a presentation and vocabulary introduction followed by exercises to emphasize practical utilization of the French language in the specific legal context.
Prerequisite: Fluency or advanced level of proficiency in French is required. Instruction will be in French.
Evaluation: Students will be evaluated based on class participation, and a few short quizzes and/or written assignments; a final exam may be delivered.
