Not For Profit Institutions: Issues in Law and Governance This course will provide a broad introduction to the special legal and conceptual problems of nonprofit organizations. The course will include a description of the nonprofit universe and the theoretical rationalies for the nonprofit setor. The course will also include coverge of such topics as organization and governance, fiduciary oblications of officers and directors, investment powers, regulation of charitable solicitation, and the enforcement powers of donors, the attorney general and others.
