Apply for Financial Aid

Students who submit completed financial aid applications by the priority deadline will be considered for all forms of financial aid. Late filers will still be considered for financial aid, but may not qualify for all programs based on the availability of funds.  Scholarships awarded to entering students are automatically renewed for the second and third years, provided the recipients maintain good academic standing and remain enrolled in classes at the Law School.

Students must reapply for financial aid each year. All information is kept strictly confidential. Information disclosed in the financial aid process has no bearing on the admissions evaluation process or decisions.

Northwestern University School of Law continues to consider applicants as independent students, meaning that we do not require parental information as part of your financial aid application. If you are applying to another law school that requires you to complete Need Access with parental information as part of your application, we will not receive that information nor consider that information as part of your application.
