These three day long programs are designed to enhance skillsets for handling complex legal and public policy issues, with a particular emphasis on the application of principles of economics. Program sessions include: Market in Action; Market Failures: Externalities, Monopolies and Information Problems; Principles of Public Policy Analysis; Public Choice Economics; Introduction to Probability; Empirical Legal Research; Judicial Behavior; Property Rights Economics; The Financial Crisis; and Information, Insurance Markets and Disasters. Classes are taught by distinguished faculty from Northwestern University and other leading institutions.
