1969:

David Barton
served as moderator of the Michigan Banking Summit conducted by the Michigan Bankers Association in Lansing on September 5. (10.09.08)

Arthur Benson
was elected to a four-year term on the School Board of the School District of Kansas City, Missouri. After 29 years on the outside representing the class of school children against the district in the school desegregation litigation - - resulting in over $2 billion of funds for the District - - in Missouri V. Jenkins (twice it was before the Supreme Court), he is now advocating their interests from the inside. (8.01.08)

John C. Watkins, Jr.
professor emeritus of criminal justice in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Alabama, retired in June, 2003, after thirty-eight years of teaching. In January 2006, he published as lead author and editor, War Crimes and War Crime Trials: From Leipzig to the ICC and Beyond, Cases, Materials and Comments, Carolina Academic Press. Watkins is currently an adjunct professor of the international criminal justice in the Honors College at The University of Alabama. (3.2.07)

1963:

James Adams
is in his 45th year with Frost Brown Todd and as Counsel has been assigned several projects for the firm, including serving as a long time member of its Ethics and Conflicts Committee and sundry mentoring, marketing and client development responsibilities primarily in the litigation field. This leaves time to pursue a variety of projects as a Trustee and Officer for various nonprofit organizations including the Episcopal Diocese of Lexington and the National Episcopal Church (particularly with regard to property ownership issues), the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, the county public library, several social action organizations dealing with poverty and substance abuse issues, a large foundation fund devoted to general charitable purposes, and the Greater Cincinnati Legal Aid Society. He also serves on the Bar Association’s Grievance Committee and as a mentor under the Ohio Supreme Court’s mentoring program. (5.29.07)
