The Class Agent Program (full Class Agent list) was developed to promote on-going class involvement among alums and create opportunities for peer to peer support of the Law School.
The primary role of Class Agents will be to act as alumni representatives for their respective classes. With the assistance of the Law School staff, Class Agents will:
Class Agent Philosophy:
People give to people. The most successful fundraising campaigns are those in which people of means and influence are recruited to give their time and money to a campaign and ask others to do the same. The volunteer’s task is to ask. Our staff will do the rest.
Through this peer-to-peer campaign, Class Agents advance the Law School’s core messaging with customized communications that resonate with a specific audience/class to increase donor participation, reach new donors and increase alumni engagement.
Class Agents – 1-3 Representatives recruited from each class who will author 3 letters and follow up e-mail messages (drafted by the development staff) to their classmates for annual support of the Law School
Facebook and LinkedIn Sites –Class Agents promote reconnecting with other alumni via the Law School’s social networking vehicles to learn about Law School News, Updates and Events, Photos and Links to Class Notes and Alumni Giving pages
Class Agents Duties:
The Law School launched the program in September 2008 with 19 pilot classes.
In September 2009, eleven additional classes will join the program including 1959, 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004, and 2009.
