E-mail for Life

Alumni E-mail
Northwestern Law alumni without an existing NU Google-mail account (@nlaw.northwestern.edu) can now activate an @alum.northwestern.edu account. These e-mail accounts include the Google Apps such as IM, Calendaring, Sites and Document, Spreadsheet and Presentation applications. Click on @alum.northwestern.edu to learn more about these accounts.

You do NOT need an @alum.northwestern.edu account if you already have an @nlaw.northwestern.edu e-mail account. Your @nlaw account, hosted by Google, is yours indefinitely. Once your netid has expired after graduation, you just need to log in to http://www.nlaw.northwestern.edu/ with your NLaw username (alias) and NLaw password. For more information about using your @nlaw account after graduation, see Graduating or Leaving Northwestern?

If you’re having difficulty logging in to your @alum.northwestern.edu account, see Trouble Logging In?

E-mail for Life
We are in the process of updating our E-mail for Life forwarding system to provide greater functionality and collaboration options. If you already have E-mail for Life forwarding set up, you should be receiving a message from the Law Alumni department explaining how to activate your new account. If you have any questions please direct them to law-alumni@law.northwestern.edu.
