Welcome to the APALSA website! Thank you for your interest in our organization, one of the largest and most visible chapters of APALSA in the Midwest. I hope you will use this site to learn about our mission, upcoming events, members, and supporters.

APALSA strives to encourage a sense of community at Northwestern and promote awareness of Asian Pacific American (APA) issues in the greater Chicago legal community. As the number of APAs in law schools increases, APALSA is committed to increasing the hiring and retention of APAs in law firms nationwide.

We invite you to take a closer look at how APALSA:

- Builds and deepens knowledge about relevant issues through speaker panels, debates, and other events featuring legal professionals, academics, and other practitioners;
- Cultivates a sense of community through social and networking events;
- Develops the professional and leadership skills of APA students through professional and academic development opportunities; and
- Serves the broader community through volunteering and advocacy.

In the coming months, we hope to provide our members with plentiful opportunities for personal and professional growth. Finally, thank you to our generous sponsors. You have helped make APALSA one of the most active and prominent student groups at Northwestern Law.

We look forward to another exciting year!

Sincerely,

Jade Leung & Joanna Gau
Co-Presidents
