Contributing to the Campaign
There are a number of ways to contribute to the Motion to Lead Campaign.
Law School Fund: The Law School Fund supports the Law School's annual operating budget, funding numerous activities and programs. When contributing to the Law School Fund, you have the option to give unrestricted support, which allows the dean and Law School leaders flexibility to use your gift in the area of greatest need, or you may direct your gift to a specific area.
Public Interest Fellowships (pdf): To help graduates launch public interest careers, the Law School awards fellowships to help support one year of full-time service as a lawyer at a nonprofit or government agency. Post-graduate fellows have worked for public defenders, legal aid clinics, district attorneys’ offices, and organizations like the ACLU. Donors contribute a one-time gift of $50,000 and the fellowship is named in honor of the donor or a person of the donor’s choosing. The Law School provides a $10,000 match to fund fringe benefits. Planned Giving: Estate gifts are a powerful way to advance the mission of Northwestern Law and to transform the lives of future generations of lawyers and leaders. Making a planned gift is easier than you think: whether you are just beginning to think about your legacy or working with a financial advisor to finalize your estate plans, we welcome the opportunity to discuss how a planned gift can help you realize current and long-term financial goals, provide for your family, and make a lasting impact at the Law School. For more information about planned giving, please contact Emily Mullin at 312.503.1558 or email@example.com or visit Northwestern's Office of Gift Planning.
Major Gifts: Major Gifts are gifts over $100,000 that are typically designated for a specific purpose. If you are interested in making a substantial commitment to an area that is personally meaningful to you, please contact Emily Mullin at 312.503.1558 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
