The registration deadline for guaranteeing preferential scheduling for employers requesting an on-campus visit is March 20, 2009. The registration form must be submitted online or postmarked by the deadline and the non-refundable registration fee must be postmarked by the deadline in order to be considered for preferential scheduling. Northwestern Law schedules employer OCI dates based on ranked date preferences. When an employer's first choice date is oversubscribed, a rotation system, based on the rank of the OCI date preference awarded to the employer in previous years, is used to determine which of the employer's ranked preferences will be awarded for the current year. Please note: To ensure a fair process from year-to-year, employers who participated in Northwestern Law's Fall 2008 OCI program and were scheduled in the first week of OCI will most likely be scheduled the second week of OCI in 2009.
OCI dates will be released by Wednesday, April 15, 2009, for all registered Fall OCI employers.
Registration fees and scheduling costs do apply; please see the registration packet for details.
Northwestern Law uses a lottery system, based on student bids and availability, to grant interviews conducted on campus. The opportunity to pre-screen resumes is extended only to corporate/non-legal employers and employers who are seeking LL.M. candidates. Employer schedules and resume packets will be available one week prior to your interview date. Resumes of the students who bid for an interview with your firm/organization and are on your waitlist will also be available for viewing.
While we hope that you will choose to participate in Fall OCI to satisfy both your summer 2010 and any remaining entry-level hiring needs, we realize that you may not be able to visit our campus to conduct interviews. If you would like to receive resumes through our resume request program, please register online, by logging into Northwestern Law's Symplicity at http://www.law.northwestern.edu/symplicity and click the Resume Request tab to fill out the resume request form. If completing your resume request via mail, the request form can be found above. Resume Requests should be completed by March 20, 2009. Employers will be able to access student resumes online through Symplicity, by Tuesday, August 25, 2009, unless otherwise indicated on your request.
If you have questions about this program, please contact Kelly Obenauer .

Northwestern University School of Law’s Center for Career Strategy and Advancement is excited to announce a new on-line service to our partner-employers, the NLaw Student Search. The NLaw Student Search will better connect you with our students based upon student and employer interests and will supplement your on-campus recruitment efforts.
Using the NLaw Student Search, you can identify students who might be a good match for your office in terms of work experience, education and training, and/or geographic affinity. Based on your search, you can view resumes on-line, print them out, and contact students directly.
