On-Campus Recruitment Programs

Spring On-Campus Interviewing (OCI)
Spring 2012 OCI will take place on January 23, 24, 25, 26, 30, 31, and February 1, 2, 6, 7, 8 and 9, 2012. Interviews take place at Northwestern University School of Law, located on the Chicago campus. (Chicago Campus Map & Driving Directions)

We encourage you to interview our first-, second-, and third-year JD students as well as our LLM Tax and LLM International students. There are no registration fees or scheduling costs associated with this program.

Northwestern Law uses a lottery system, based on student bids and availability, to grant interviews conducted on campus. The opportunity to pre-screen resumes is extended only to corporate/non-legal employers and employers who are seeking LL.M. candidates.

Registering for Spring OCI
To Register:

  1. Log in to Northwestern Law’s Symplicity.
If you are not yet registered in our Symplicity system, you can sign-up for a new account by clicking the "Register" button.
  2. Click on the [OCI] tab
  3. Complete the Registration Form

Registration is open from December 1 – Dec 23.

Employers will receive a confirmation packet via Symplicity with their assigned interview date(s) by January 7, 2012.

Schedules and resume packets will be available one week prior to your interview date. Resumes of the students who bid for an interview with your firm/organization and are on your waitlist will also be available for viewing.

If you would like to receive resumes through our resume request program, please register online, by logging into Northwestern Law’s Symplicity and click the Resume Request tab to fill out the resume request form.

Requests may be completed at any time. Employers will be able to access student resumes online through Symplicity, by January 28, 2012, unless otherwise indicated on your request.

NLaw Student Search

Northwestern University School of Law’s Center for Career Strategy and Advancement is excited to announce a new on-line service to our partner-employers, the NLaw Student Search. The NLaw Student Search will better connect you with our students based upon student and employer interests and will supplement your on-campus recruitment efforts.

Using the NLaw Student Search, you can identify students who might be a good match for your office in terms of work experience, education and training, and/or geographic affinity. Based on your search, you can view resumes on-line, print them out, and contact students directly.
