Basics of Contract Drafting [Executive LLM] This course provides a hands-on opportunity to examine the process of contract drafting and interpretation from a common-law perspective, including organization, structure, components and typical contract clauses.
No matter where your clients are based or where in the world a deal may take you, the structure and documents of most international transactions follow a model inspired in the common law world and mainly developed by City and New York law firms. A better understanding of these common-law concepts will increase your effectiveness in dealing with a wide variety of international deals.
Method of evaluation: Grading will be based on group and individual drafting assignments and class participation.
