State Constitutional Law This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to State constitutional law ¿ an under-studied area in the curriculum of national law schools. We will look at the features of State constitutions that deal with separation of powers and the structure of State government as well as with the individual rights protections in State constitutional law. A key point of interest will be the comparison of State constitutional law to federal constitutional law and to the constitutional law of other Western democracies.
