This colloquium provides an opportunity for students to interact with faculty from around the country who are doing cutting edge research in law and social psychology. This semester (Spring 2011), we will focus on how the disciplines of law and psychology treat scientific and quantitative evidence in general, and forensic science evidence in particular. Students with interests in litigation, evidence, social science experiments, and quantitative reasoning will be particularly interested in this colloquium. Grades will be based on class participation, a series of short reaction papers, and performance in leading a single class session.
