European Business Law European Business Law examines the legal environment in which international businesses operate in Europe and the legal issues which confront international business lawyers. Several of the specific substantive areas of law which will be addressed are competition and trade law, company law, intellectual property, e-commerce, consumer protection and labor law. In addition, the seminar will address the European Monetary Union and European administrative law as it applies to businesses. A prior course in European law will be helpful but not essential for
the course.
Teaching Method:
Texts: All course materials will be available on Blackboard as well as in the bookstore.
Evaluation: Final Examination with the possibility to write a seminar paper with the prior permission of the instructor.
