Labor Law The course begins with an overview of U.S. labor history and the evolution of labor relations law. The central focus of the course examines the National Labor Relations Act from both policy and practical perspectives. We shall examine the regulation of employee and union organizing, the process of contract bargaining, the administration of the collective agreement, labor protests, strikes and secondary activity, and a union's duty of fair representation. In addition, we shall study current labor relations issues and consider needed changes to labor relations regulation.
