Lives of Lawyers

This course will focus on the careers and lives of lawyers in a variety of settings and contexts: public service, the judiciary, public interest, and lawyers who use their training and skills outside of the formal practice of law. Readings to be discussed in class address a variety of challenges to lawyers and the rule of law. Every student will be required to write and present a career analysis and biography of a particular lawyer, the particular subject to be approved by the instructor. Evaluation: Accountability: two drafts of the written work in consultation with the instructor, in class presentations and preparations. Text: Anthony G.
