MLK Day Celebration
Northwestern’s Chicago campus will celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 21 with panel events and a mock Supreme Court oral argument of Parents Involved in Community Schools v. Seattle School District. The celebration also incorporates a public service component, with a series of activities immediately preceding or following the actual holiday, including last year’s successful Tax Assistance Project, and work in a soup kitchen and shelter.
