MLK Day Celebration, January 11-18
Northwestern's Chicago campus will honor the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. with a series of public service projects and lunchtime panel discussions centered on more contemporary civil rights issues January 11-15. On MLK Day — January 18 — the series concludes with a keynote presentation featuring author Harriet Washington, several musical performances, an award presentation, a panel discussion, and much more. Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology (JCLC) Centennial Celebration
Journal staff, alumni, and supporters of the JCLC will celebrate the Journal's centennial with a symposium and celebration event on January 29. The symposium, A Century of Criminal Justice, will be in Lincoln Hall from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and is free of charge and open to the public. Tickets to the Centennial Celebration following the symposium are $35 per person. More info...

Alumni Career Webinar
Facing critical career decisions while dealing with the impact of the current economy? The Center for Career Strategy and the Office of Alumni Relations will host an alumni-oriented career webinar on Wednesday, February 3 from noon to 1 p.m. during which they will present an updated snapshot of the legal job market as well as job search strategies for the Northwestern Law alumni community. Registration information and more details to follow.

The Center for Career Strategy would also like to remind all alumni that their services, including personalized counseling, resume and cover letter evaluation, and job search strategies, are available to Northwestern Law graduates for life. Stay tuned for more information on alumni career services in the coming weeks!

Reunion 2010 - Call for Reunion Committee Volunteers!
Classes of 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, and 2005 will celebrate Reunion October 1-2. Reunion committee members participate in planning meetings and help reach out to encourage classmates to attend Reunion Weekend.
