LAW WEB SITE REVEALS NEW LOOK
After undergoing a year-long redesign process, the Law School Web site unveiled a new look on March 5. We hope you will be pleased with our updated site, which was designed with input from faculty, staff, and students, to make it more accessible and easier to navigate. To take the user feedback survey and find out more about the new and improved features, click here.
STUDENT DEFENSE TEAM WINS JULIUS H. MINER MOOT COURT FINALS
Students packed into Lincoln Hall on Friday, March 5, to cheer on finalists David Lieber, JD '04, and Matt Lyon, JD '04, and Rebecca Kahan, JD '04, and Lizzie Rosenthal, JD '04. Hon. Karen Nelson Moore, Circuit Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit; Hon. Arthur L. Alarcon, Senior Circuit Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit; and the Hon. Diane P. Kahan was awarded the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award for Outstanding Speaker. A special thanks to all alumni and friends of the Law School who volunteered as judges during Moot Court.
INAUGURAL CLASS OF EXECUTIVE LLM STUDENTS IN KOREA GRADUATES MARCH 28
Twenty -five students will be the first to graduate from Northwestern Law’s new Executive LLM in Korea program on March 28, 2004. The students, Korean legal professionals, have spent the past year studying in Seoul with Northwestern Law professors. To learn more about the Executive LLM in Korea program and this year's graduating class, click here.
ARE YOU A FORMER JUDICIAL CLERK?
The Center for Career Strategy and Advancement provides a history on its Web site of Northwestern Law alums who have served as judicial clerks post-graduation. In an effort to ensure that our data is as accurate and comprehensive as possible, please check the site to see that your information is presented correctly. If you find that you are not included in our history or if your information is incorrect, please e-mail Assistant Dean Shonagh Aylsworth.
HELP YOUR CLASSMATES RECONNECT WITH THE LAW SCHOOL
Many Law School alumni have moved and we no longer have their current contact information in our database. These “lost” alumni are missing out on Reunions, Law School news, and connections with fellow classmates. Please review the “Lost Alumni” list on our Web site. If you see your name or the name of someone you know, please send their latest contact information to law-alumni@law.northwestern.edu. If you would like to update your own information, click here.
