Elaine McChesney
It is with sadness that we report that Elaine McChesney, Senior Lecturer, passed away on April 11, after a long battle with cancer. Elaine joined the Law School in 2003. Beloved by her students, she was an excellent teacher. She was also a prominent, successful arbitrator, serving in various arbitration/mediation positions with the American Arbitration Association, and was of counsel with Sidley, Austin, Brown & Wood, where she focused on intellectual property transactions and technology transfer. Elaine was a respected and beloved community member who will be greatly missed.
