The proposals of “Plan 2008: Preparing Great Leaders for the Changing World” were developed by a working group consisting of faculty, students, alumni, and staff and assisted by Blaqwell, Inc., a prominent legal consulting firm, before they were submitted to industry leaders in focus groups. More… Cook County State’s Attorney to Speak at Criminal Law Program Richard A. Devine, Cook County state’s attorney, will serves as this year’s key note speaker at the 2008 Short Courses for Prosecuting Attorneys and Defense Lawyers in Criminal Cases. Devine has served 11 years as state’s attorney in the second largest prosecutor’s office in the nation. He brings a unique perspective on the issues confronting criminal attorneys.
