Daniel Rodriguez Named New Law School DeanDaniel Rodriguez Named New Law School Dean
Daniel B. Rodriguez, has been appointed dean of Northwestern Law effective January 1, 2012. Rodriguez, a former dean at the University of San Diego Law School and a nationally prominent scholar in administrative law, local government law, statutory interpretation, and state constitutional law, succeeds David Van Zandt, who served as dean of Northwestern Law since 1995. Reunion registration is now open! We are welcoming alumni from the classes of 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, and 2006 back to the Law School October 14-15 for Reunion 2011.

50th Annual Corporate Counsel Institute
On October 5-6, Northwestern Law will celebrate the 50th Annual Corporate Counsel Institute, which will look at important developments throughout the past five decades in the areas of securities law, employment law, and enforcement, while addressing relevant current concerns in the areas of social media, corporate political activities and updates in the current capital markets. Also in honor of the milestone, the Chicago corporate counsel community will honor the Institute and its founder, David Ruder.

Sessions will begin at 1 p.m. and conclude at 5:15 p.m. the next day. Attendees are able to register online. Please send any questions via e-mail.
