New Professional Education Program: Advocacy and Ethics Film Series
Earn up to 4.5 Illinois Professional Responsibility credits through Northwestern Law’s new program, the Advocacy and Ethics Film Series. Participants watch a film that features the legal profession then discuss the advocacy and ethics issues raised by the award-winning movie. Each discussion session is moderated by a well-regarded Northwester Law professor, including Steven Lubet, Robert Burns, and David Scheffer. Participants earn 1.5 credits per film, or 4.5 credits for attending all three films. The first discussion session is scheduled for October 3. More…

LLM Discussion Group Hosts
Share your wealth of knowledge and experience with LLM students this fall by hosting a discussion group. Each group meets at or near the Law School for one hour per week and consists of five to six students. Groups run from mid-September to late November (usually 10 to 11 weeks). There is also an option to start in January and continue through April. Alums interested in volunteering as a host or contributing to the ESL program for international students in some other way (writing tutor, mentor) should contact John Haberstroh, English as Second Language Coordinator, at j-haberstroh@law.northwestern.edu or (312) 503-1413.
