Bluhm Legal Clinic Highlights
Clinic faculty, students, and staff continue to work tirelessly on behalf of underrepresented populations. Most recently the Center on Wrongful Convictions worked to secure exoneration for Andre Davis, an innocent man who spent nearly 32 years behind bars. In other work around the clinic, Professor Sandra Babcock is featured in a new online video clip, "Cry for Justice," which highlights the Center for International Human Rights and clinic students' service work in Malawi.

Alumni Weekend 2012 – October 12-13
Online registration is now open for Alumni Community Day and Reunion! All alumni are welcome to a full day of activities on October 12 including tours of the Law School, free Ethics CLE programming, faculty-led panel sessions, and a networking reception. On October 13, alumni from the classes of 1962, 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, and 2007 are invited to the Reunion Grand Celebration.

Northwestern Undergraduate Mock Trial Competition
The Northwestern Undergraduate Mock Trial Team would like to invite Law School alumni to act as judges for the second annual Northwestern Invitational Tournament this January. The competition is held in memory of Corrie Lazar, a Northwestern student who was killed by a drunk driver in 2009. If you are interested in participating as a judge, please contact us at northwesternmt@gmail.com.

Recruiting Alumni Discussion Group Leaders for International Students
We are recruiting discussion group leaders for the Fall and Spring semesters who would like to volunteer time to Northwestern Law's diverse international student population, primarily our LLM students. Discussion groups give students an opportunity to practice their academic discussion skills, and provide opportunities for networking and increased cultural awareness of life in the United States. Leaders determine the schedule and format for their discussion group (about 8 students), which should meet at least 5-6 times during the semester. If you are interested in being a discussion group leader, please contact James Darney, Assistant Director of International & Area Studies.
