CARDINAL GEORGE TO VISIT NORTHWESTERN'S CHICAGO CAMPUS
Cardinal Francis Eugene George, Archbishop of the Chicago Archdiocese, will visit Northwestern's Chicago campus on Wednesday, October 9, 2002. Throughout the day, the Cardinal will meet with students, faculty, and staff, as well as deliver a public address at 4:15 p.m. in Lincoln Hall. For more information, click here.

ACLU HONOR TO DAWN CLARK NETSCH '52
Dawn Clark Netsch, a 1952 graduate of Northwestern Law, will receive the Roger Baldwin Lifetime Achievement Award at this year's ACLU Bill of Rights Celebration on October 5, 2002, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. She is being honored for having a strong and consistent voice for civil liberties throughout her career in state legislature and in the classroom. For more information, click here.

STUDENTS AWARDED FOR EXCELLENT BRIEF WRITING
Eight second-year law students were honored with this year's Arlyn Miner Book Awards, which are awarded to those students who had the best combined grade for briefs written in each section of their first-year appellate advocacy classes. To see a list of recipients, click here.
