U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg visited Northwestern Law September 14-15 as the Howard J. Trienens Visiting Judicial Scholar, providing students and faculty with perspectives on the judicial process and contemporary legal issues. Her September 15 discussion aired on C-SPAN's America & the Courts program on September 26 and is now available on the C-SPAN web site. "Out of the Mouths of Babes: False Confessions and the Wrongful Convictions of Youth," a symposium at Northwestern Law, will feature the stories of individuals from around the country who were wrongfully arrested or convicted as youth. The symposium -- which will launch the Bluhm Legal Clinic's new Center on Wrongful Convictions of Youth (CWCY) -- will feature a panel discussion of juvenile and criminal justice professionals.
