Law School Welcomes New FacultyAlumni Weekend 2012 – October 12-13
Register now for Alumni Community Day and Reunion! All alumni are welcome to a full day of activities on October 12 including tours of the Law School, free ethics CLE programming, faculty-led panel sessions, and a networking reception. On October 13, alumni from the classes of 1962, 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, and 2007 are invited to the Reunion Grand Celebration.

Law School Receives $5 Million Gift from Kirkland & Ellis
The Kirkland & Ellis Foundation and 31 of the law firm's senior partners, who are Law School alumni, recently donated $5 million to the Law School. As one of the largest single gifts in the Law School's history, it will establish the Kirkland & Ellis Scholarship Fund to provide scholarships for future JD-MBA students. Read More

Northwestern to Participate in LLM Recruitment Events
This month, Northwestern Law will participate in international and domestic recruitment events aimed to give prospective LLM students an opportunity to talk personally with representatives from ABA-approved law schools. Events will take place in New York, Paris, Madrid, and Milan. Read More

Northwestern Undergraduate Mock Trial Competition
The Northwestern Undergraduate Mock Trial Team would like to invite Law School alumni to act as judges for the second annual Northwestern Invitational Tournament this January. The competition is held in memory of Corrie Lazar, a Northwestern student who was killed by a drunk driver in 2009. If you are interested in participating as a judge, please contact us at northwesternmt@gmail.com.

18th Annual SFPIF Auction
The Annual Student Funded Public Interest Fellowship (SFPIF) Auction will be held on November 15, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Law School Atrium. This year's auction will feature a networking reception and both silent and live auction items. The proceeds will go to the Len Rubinowitz Public Interest Fellowships, which are awarded to students with summer jobs in public interest or government. Attendees are able to RSVP online.
