Welcome to Northwestern LawTrial Team Victory
The Bartlit Center for Trial Strategy proudly announces that Northwestern's Trial Team won the Midwest Regional of the ABA Labor and Employment Law Trial Competition. The winning team -- Jessica Frogge (JD '09), Brian Miller (JD '08), Simar Singh (JD '08), and Ethan White (JD '08) -- was coached by Michael Leonard, a partner at Meckler Bulger & Tilson. Having won all four rounds of the regional (defeating teams from John Marshall, the University of Illinois, and the University of Indiana), the team will now go on to the national finals, to be held in Chicago in late January 2008.

Negotiation Competition Victories
Northwestern Law's Program on Negotiation and Mediation also celebrated recent victories. At the ABA Regional Negotiation Competition, Laura Lombardo (JD '09) and Valerie Valenzo (JD '09) placed third, and Jacob Babcock (JD '09) and Leslie Garbarino (JD '09) placed first. Babcock and Garbarino will continue to represent Northwestern at the National Competition in February 2008.
