The Howard J. Trienens Visiting Judicial Scholar Program was established in 1989 by partners of Sidley Austin to honor Trienens' service to the firm and to Northwestern. Judges Needed for Moot Court Competition – CLE Credit Available Support Northwestern Law Before the Calendar Year End Individuals more than 70 ½ years old can also choose to make an IRA Charitable Rollover gift. Through this federal program, eligible individuals can donate up to $100,000 from their Individual Retirement Accounts directly to the Law School without having to count the distributions as taxable income. In addition, if you are in a position to hire a student, the Center would be happy to forward you the resumes of interested students. The Center is also interested in locating summer positions where there may be no promise of a permanent offer at the end of the summer and permanent positions that are part-time or contract, as well as full-time.
