Each year, the American Bar Association Joint Committee on Employee Benefits presents an ERISA Litigation National Institute. This year, the program will be held in Chicago, IL, at the American Bar Association Offices, from May 20-21, 2013. If you will still be a law student on May 20, 2013, and if you would be interested in attending the entire program, then please submit this application package by 12:00 p.m. (CST) on April 8th to: ERISA Litigation National Institute Scholarship Selection Committee, c/o Mark DeBofsky, Daley DeBofsky and Bryant, 55 W. Students have the opportunity to apply for and receive a scholarship to the ERISA Litigation Institute’s 2-day program, held in Chicago on May 20 and 21. Without a scholarship, the program can cost as much as $1,000.00. The program covers ERISA litigation issues and is an excellent way to – •Gain or keep expertise current, •network with practitioners from across the country, and •receive 12 – 15 hours of CLE credit. A prominent local ERISA litigator, Mark DeBofsky, will receive the applications and is on the ABA committee which chooses the scholarship recipients. Opportunity to Network – May 20, 2013, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, even if students don’t attend the program, they are invited to attend a networking session with several of the ERISA lawyers who present at the program, and with other program attendees.
