Faculty Conferences
In addition to their dedication to research and scholarship that advance the understanding of law and legal institutions, the Northwestern Law faculty also understands the importance of effectively communicating those advances to students, academics, legal and business professionals, and government officials.
Each academic year a Northwestern Law faculty member organizes and sponsors a Faculty Research Conference, which brings together leading authorities in a public forum to present research and discuss timely academic and public policy issues.
Our faculty members are also highly regarded for their teaching skills, and some have organized conferences to bring their knowledge to other academics across the country. Teaching conferences at Northwestern Law provide law professors with an opportunity to hone their professional skills as teachers in areas such as negotiation, mediation, contract drafting, and problem solving, and to learn new or original teaching methods in legal education.
