Christine Agaiby is the Campaign Director of the Center on Wrongful Convictions of Youth at Northwestern University Law School. Christine’s work focuses on increasing public awareness of the problem of wrongful convictions of youth through creating grassroots coalitions and educating decision makers. She is assisting states nationally, coordinating their legislative efforts towards reform of police interrogation techniques, electronic recording of juvenile questioning and works on a “Know Your Rights” campaign, educating youth on their rights when encountered by police.

Christine is also an Adjunct Professor of Restorative Justice at Northwestern Law. Christine is an expert in Restorative Discipline in schools and has trained over 60 Chicago Public High Schools and worked to remove zero tolerance from discipline codes. Ms. Agaiby received her J.D. from Marquette University Law School and accepted public defender appointments in Milwaukee County upon graduation. She also volunteered as a Community Conferencing Facilitator through the District Attorney's office in Milwaukee County where she facilitated a process in which the victim, offender and affected community members came together in a safe setting to discuss the facts and impacts of a particular crime, reaching an alternative to prison resolution.
