Margaret Curtiss Hannon joined Northwestern's Communication and Legal Reasoning Faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Law in August 2008. Hannon received her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was a member of the Michigan Law Review and a teaching assistant in the Legal Practice Program. Prior to joining Northwestern’s faculty, Hannon practiced law at Bell, Boyd & Lloyd LLP. Hannon's practice focused on labor and employment counseling and litigation, and the negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements, topics on which she has published. Hannon was also a member of the firm’s recruiting committee and a mentor for the summer associate program.
