Tara Leigh Grove is an Associate Professor at William and Mary Law School. She specializes in the areas of federal jurisdiction and constitutional law and has published with such prestigious law journals as the Harvard Law Review, Columbia Law Review, and Cornell Law Review. Professor Grove will visit at Northwestern during the fall of 2012.
Professor Grove received her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Duke University, where she majored in political science. After teaching English in Japan for a year, she attended Harvard Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude and served as the Supreme Court Chair of the Harvard Law Review. She clerked for Judge Emilio Garza on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and then spent four years as an appellate attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, where she argued fifteen cases in the courts of appeals. Her research interests include federal courts, constitutional law, statutory interpretation, and civil procedure.
