Monica Mahan, supervising social worker for the Children and Family Justice Center, oversees the work of social work students teamed with law students who work on CFJC cases. Prior to joining CFJC in 1993, Ms. Mahan served for 17 years as the executive director of Youth In Crisis Inc., a youth service agency in the western suburbs. She also worked for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and at Christopher House, a settlement house on the north side.
