Habeas Chorus is Northwestern University Law School's resident a cappella group.

What is a cappella?

From Wikipedia:

In the modern parlance, [a cappella] applies to vocal performers who refrain from performing with any instrumental accompaniment, yet sometimes sound like instruments themselves.

Repertoire:

Habeas Chorus performs four-part arrangements of rock, pop, folk, and country music, and, frankly, we're good. Our repertoire includes:

  • Doctor My Eyes, Jackson Brown
  • Africa, Toto
  • God Only Knows, The Beach Boys
  • And So It Goes, Billy Joel
  • Crazy Love
  • Love the One You're With
  • Rainbow Connection
  • Both Sides Now

Habeas performs at various Law School events, puts on at least two concerts a year, and sponsors a talent show in the spring.
