| International Law at Northwestern Northwestern Law boasts premier legal scholars in International Law, affording students the opportunity to study many facets of this growing field from some of the most prominent names in the discipline today. Additionally, there are many educational and extracurricular opportunities to pursue while studying at Northwestern. Please see our Academics section for more information! |
Join the ILS Alumni Network! Each year over 100 students graduate from Northwestern Law and pursue careers involving international law, be it commercial/transactional, humanitarian, or criminal. We would like to create stronger connections between our alumni, and hope that a new mailing list and this revised website will serve to assist both students and alumni seeking information about careers in international law. If you are an alumni, please contact ILS President Darcy Horak to register and to receive more information! |
| Foreign Language Study at Northwestern Law The ILS Board is interested in expanding foreign language instruction available to Northwestern Law students. We currently in the process of advocating for programming language and partner programs. Please let ILS Vice-President of Language Programs Youna Kim know if you are interested in providing any assistance! |
ILS Week: January 11-15, 2019Each academic year, ILS sponsors a series of discussions and lectures focusing on International Law. Last year, we gathered a great group of speakers, including Professor Hornick, Professor Bassiouni, Ambassador-Designate Gene Cretz, Ambassador Clint Williamson, David Tolbert (ICTY), Stephen Rapp (SCSL), and Ambassador David Scheffer. We are looking forward to ILS week 2010 and would like to especially thank Shearman & Sterling, White & Case, and Cleary Gottlieb for their generous support of our 2009 programming. |
