The David E. Van Zandt Innovation Fund

The Northwestern Law Board has established the David E. Van Zandt Innovation Fund to recognize the innovative accomplishments of David Van Zandt, 7th dean of Northwestern University School of Law. This endowed fund aims to support future innovations at the Law School. Each year, the dean and leadership team of the Law School will present innovative project proposals to the Law Board Executive Committee (or a designated alumni oversight committee in their absence), which will authorize the initiative(s) to be funded. In the absence of innovative initiatives, the funds may be directed toward scholarships to help recruit the best and brightest of entering students. Over time, the funded initiatives will benefit a broad range of constituents, including current and prospective students, faculty, staff, and alumni, and expand the Law School's reputation for innovation, both nationally and internationally.
