| The
Investment Club's primary purpose is to expose students to the legal and
financial issues involved in asset management. These issues are explored
in the context of our members managing an investment fund established
with an initial investment of $50,000 in 1998. While we compete with other
schools throughout the country for the best annual percentage returns
on our investments, we strive to educate our members about investing.
We encourage all levels of investors to join. In the past, our members have ranged from people with little or no experience of investing, to those who have managed large private portfolios. All members have a chance to voice questions or ideas at our meetings and we democratically vote on which stocks to buy.
